An easy Chili in a multi-cooker or in a pot. A hearty and comforting dish.
Ingredients
- 500g Mince Beef
- 1 can Chopped Tomatoes
- 1 can Passata
- 1 can Kidney Beans
- 300ml Beef Stock
- 1 Onion
- 2 Garlic Cloves Chopped ( 2 tbls Garlic Purée)
- 2tbls Tomato Purée
- 2tbs Ground Cumin
- 2tbs Ground Paprika
- 1tbs Ground Hot Chili Pepper
- 1 Spring Onion
- Salt and Pepper
Instructions
- Chopped the onion finely and the garlic.
- Sweat in a pan with olive oil on high heat for 2-5 minutes. Add to a slow cooker, pot or multi cooker.
- Brown your mince meat still on high, add it too.
- Cover with the chopped tomatoes, passata, beef stock, spices, tomato purée. Mix.
- Let it cook for 1 hour on low heat.
- Add the red kidney beans, cook for another 15 minutes.
- Ready to serve with chopped spring onions on top.
Notes
This recipe gets better with time, make a big batch and freeze it it is so handy.
