Easy Chili

An easy Chili in a multi-cooker or in a pot. A hearty and comforting dish.


  • 500g Mince Beef
  • 1 can Chopped Tomatoes
  • 1 can Passata
  • 1 can Kidney Beans
  • 300ml Beef Stock
  • 1 Onion
  • 2 Garlic Cloves Chopped ( 2 tbls Garlic Purée) 
  • 2tbls Tomato Purée 
  • 2tbs Ground Cumin
  • 2tbs Ground Paprika
  • 1tbs Ground Hot Chili Pepper 
  • 1 Spring Onion
  • Salt and Pepper


  1. Chopped the onion finely and the garlic.
  2. Sweat in a pan with olive oil on high heat for 2-5 minutes. Add to a slow cooker, pot or multi cooker.
  3. Brown your mince meat still on high, add it too.
  4. Cover with the chopped tomatoes, passata, beef stock, spices, tomato purée. Mix.
  5. Let it cook for 1 hour on low heat.
  6. Add the red kidney beans, cook for another 15 minutes.
  7. Ready to serve with chopped spring onions on top.


This recipe gets better with time, make a big batch and freeze it it is so handy.
