Easiest Salted Caramel Ice Cream Ever
This is definitely one of my go to recipe from work a bit simplified for the at home version. This recipe doesn’t require any insane skills or any appliance and you could get away with it just having a whisk. It makes for a very smooth indulgent ice cream that is perfect in coffee for a 2021 pick me up. You will find the recipe in the Sweet Foodie section of the website or by following the link below.

Salted caramel Sauce
Probably one of the most indulgent recipe there is. Not for the faint but so so good. Perfect for dipping shortbreads, to be spread on pancakes, sauce on ice creams… A good gift as well to be put in a nice jar for those good friends. Do not be tempted to count the calories on this one but you definitely deserve it. You will find the recipe in the Sweet Foodie section or by following this link.

Strawberry, pineapple sage and beer ice cream
A very long time no writing. So hi guys again. I am coming back with a very easy and delicious recipe of ice cream with no fancy tools needed. And I’ll come back to you with a few alternatives of these ice creams that I absolutely love to make. During lockdown what kept us sane was to be ordering from a local brewery that we both love Rascals in Dublin. Beer in front of a movie was a great way for us to relax. And the brewery in itself does pizza as well so we did go to pay them a visit and it was great. Coming back and with the amount of…

Quiche Lorraine
This recipe used to be an obsession of mine. I think at one point I might have cooked it about 4 times a week. It used to also be one of our typical winter Sunday dinner as a kid, soup followed by a quiche and it was glorious. Talk about a Proust madeleine. Boyfriend totally approves of this one. I also sometimes do small versions so they can be frozen and ready whenever I’m craving them. You will find the recipe in the Savoury Section of the website or by clicking on the link below.

Barley Flour Bread
Another experience with Barley Flour. This one is more dense because containing a lot more barley flour. Makes me think about a traditional Irish soda bread in a lot of ways. It goes perfectly with toast or butter and dark chocolate a traditional french indulgence. For those asking I find my barley flour in the halal shops but I know you will find it in the Asian market or health store. You will find the recipe in the All about that bread section of the website or by following the link below.

New Sourdough Baguettes
A new and improved version of the sourdough baguettes recipe. I am now making it at least twice a week, a real crowd pleaser and so tasty. And that smell coming out of the oven is unbeatable. For more steps by steps on how to stretch and fold and shape you have an Instagram story about it. You will find the recipe in the All About That Bread section or by following the link below.

Barley Bread
I definitely had fun with this scoring, the dough is really appropriate for it. I do also love the taste of barley. This bread is perfect with a good piece of dark chocolate or for sandwiches. Here though it doesn’t last long. Not that I am complaining because it means I just need to bake more and get to try a whole lot of different combinations. You will find the recipe in the All about the bread se Timon of the website or by clicking on the link below.

Fakeaway Chicken
A good alternative to a take away and I might assume a bit more healthy as well. Don’t be scared by the list of ingredients they are for the most part kitchen staples. Perfect served with rice or noodles and vegetables. You will find the recipe in the Savoury Foodie section or by following the link below.

Easy Loaf
A quicker and easy loaf of sourdough with a Demi baguette as a bonus. With the current situation regarding bread flour this version calls only for 250g of strong flour. The rest is all purpose flour and a bit of rye flour. Stay safe and keep baking. The recipe is in the All about that bread or accessible by clicking on the link below.

Sweet Potato and Coconut Soup
A real surprise. I have tendencies to go vegan. Veganism has had an appeal for me for quite a long time now. In my job I tried for several years to come up with vegan alternatives. But I am not a vegan right now. Still this soup is one of my favourite. It is also the kiddos in my life favourite. And trust me they are difficult ( like we were as kids my siblings and I). Really easy to do and so creamy. You will find the recipe in the Vegan Foodie section or by clicking on the link below.
